Let’s goooooo! 💪Today marks exactly one year since the hurricane destroyed our incredible landmark. The number of people who have visited, shared memories, have told us The Snook is their first stop, what makes Marco Island, Marco, has been overwhelming in the very best way. We promised to come back stronger than ever. To rebuild. To be SNOOK STRONG! We rebuilt! Changed our menus, extended the bar, added panoramic ocean views to our interior, all while paying special attention to what makes Snook, Snook. And now, after a year of actual blood, sweat and tears, we are beyond proud to announce we will be ready to welcome guests back next week.

A special thank you to our incredible staff who have been patiently waiting for us. To our friends and family who have supported us, to our owners for the constant attention to every last detail to make this day happen. To @paradisedesignbuild for helping make this beautiful space come to life. And to our guests, who have stayed with us waiting for this post to finally arrive. We thank you all. And, we will see you soon!

We know there has been a lot of talk about the pro

We know there has been a lot of talk about the progress of our iconic landmark. We wanted to update everyone with the latest information. The restaurant was originally closed for routine maintenance before the storm. The hurricane caused significant damage to the entire building. Our employees were all moved to our other restaurants during the rebuild. Our team has been working very hard to rebuild and open our doors. The overhang of the chickee hut encroached a foot over the neighboring property so we are making adjustments, which will be complete this week. Our goal is to have the restaurant open and welcoming guests by the end of summer. We will still have the salad bar, pickles, live music and our incredible views. We look forward to celebrating with you and continuing our island traditions. #SnookStrong

Today was a very emotional day. Our American flag that was damaged in the hurricane was returned to us. Battered and torn but not destroyed. It’s not only a symbol of our amazing country but for our beloved Snook. The flag that welcomed all of our guests for years. It stood proud above our incredible iconic slice of Marco. It’s incredibly fitting that we got this piece of our history back on this holiday. 🇺🇸Happy 4th of July. Home of the free & the brave. See you soon, Marco! #SnookStrong
